Ingredients The recipe of original INDIAN*ESSENCE originates from ancient Ojibwa and Cree natural medicine. The original recipe consists of nine special, natural ingredients. The following plants, roots and bark are used in this time-tested ancient formula:Burdock root (Arctium lappa) Regulates blood sugar and has a diuretic, blood-cleansing effect that detoxifies the body. Sheep sorrel herb (Rumex acetosella) Is rich in chlorophyll and carotene that help with heart and circulation problems, and in fighting cancer. Slippery elm bark (Ulmus rubra) The mucous from the red elm works as an anti-inflammatory, antibiotic and as an anti-microbial. Stinging Nettle (Urtica dioica) Has a harmonizing effect on the intestines, liver and spleen. Blessed thistle herb (Carduus benedictus) Used in folk medicine for cancerous tumors in the stomach and intestinal tract. Regulates the glandular functions, e.g. the pancreas.
